June is the streaming season in full swing, and Netflix and Prime Video have provided a good variety of worth-watching original material, whether it’s true crime or animated fantasy come back.
The Witness: Netflix

The Witness is a three-part true crime drama that is already on the top 10 list of Netflix’s Top 10 titles, and is about the murder of Rachel Nickell on Wimbledon Common in London in 1992. The show, which was helmed by Alex Winckler, started with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was one of the most emotionally charged watches in the month.
Sweet Magnolias Season 5:Netflix

The popular Southern drama is coming back to £5 for a fifth appearance. But JoAnna Garcia Swisher is up top with Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley, and the same small town sweetness and tangled relationships – a comfort viewing that has kept audiences glued to the series for years.
Avatar: The Last Airbender, Season 2:Netflix

With a premiere slated for June 25, the second season of live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender is arguably one of the most hotly anticipated releases of the month, and rightfully so. The adaptation has started to get its feet on the ground in a big way and, following the first season’s surprise success, Aang and the gang face higher stakes and bigger battles.
The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4:Prime Video

A year after the fall of the Chroma Conclave, Season 4 sets the Vox Machina scattered. All across the globe, they are called back together to fight their darkest foe yet. The Critical Role animanga series debuts three episodes at a time, every week, on Prime Video. Ideal for those who want to savour their episodes but not ingest them blindly.
Every Year After: Prime Video

Each series is called a Year After and is comprised of 8 episodes, which tell the love story of Percy and Sam over a span of 6 years and one pivotal week, based on Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel. With Sadie Soverall and Matt Cornett, it’s been likened to The Summer I Turned Pretty and is set to be Prime’s summer love sight.
Clarkson’s Farm Season 5:Prime Video

With a Government budget leaving the farming community in turmoil, Jeremy Clarkson faces some very difficult decisions to decide what changes to make so he can continue to run the farm. Both chaotic and (oddly) wholesome, Clarkson’s Farm is one of Prime’s most consistently fun originals – and it only seems to be evolving for the better, with each season.
Michael Jackson: The Verdict: Netflix

The documentary series is currently in the top 10 of Netflix’s Top 10 this week, and will re-examine one of pop culture’s most dissected legacies. It’s impossible to scroll away, whether or not you’ve been a fan for a long time or are a curious individual observing the activity.
Nemesis:Netflix

Nemesis, another film in Netflix’s Top 10 this week, is a thriller that slowly has been gaining momentum. Little pre-release hype made its chart performance even more remarkable. This just happens to be the sort of “buy now, while nobody knows” situation that people love.
