Evil Dead Burn is a new sequel that is expected to be a big success in the Evil Dead series. The teaser of the official date announcement was released, which confirmed that the movie will be released in theaters and sparked great enthusiasm among horror fans around the world.
Franchise Legacy

According to IMDb records, the Evil Dead series is an ever-evolving series of theatrical installments, developed by Sam Raimi in 1981, and continuing to this day with its sixth installment, and over forty years of incessant, genre-defying storytelling. The franchise has constantly re-packaged itself without losing the classic supernatural horror theme that has earned it a fan base across the world.
Date Confirmed

Evil Dead Burn will be released theatrically in the United States on July 10, 2026, and in France and Italy on July 9, 2026, according to the official international trailer. In November, before being moved two weeks early by Warner Bros., the movie was initially planned to be released on July 24, 2026.
Teaser Arrives

The official date announcement teaser of Evil Dead Burn was shown in theatres in the previews before The Mummy by Lee Cronin, and then released online, providing a very short, but very chilling view of the horror that viewers are about to encounter. The teaser consists of an uninterrupted shot of a young woman, who is in desperate attempts to leave a house full of Deadites.
Meet The Director

Infested, a 2023 film by French filmmaker Sébastien Vaniček, was personally chosen by series creator Sam Raimi to write and direct Evil Dead Burn, according to Deadline. Another thing that Raimi found impressive about Vaniček was the skill to create the suffocating tension and visceral horror of limited and claustrophobic settings.
Writing The Screenplay

Vaniček co-wrote the screenplay with Florent Bernard, the Evil Dead Burn. As Deadline reports, Sam Raimi gave Vaniček complete creative freedom over the story, tone, and overall vision of the film, a bold investment in new creative potential in the film-making industry by a legendary brand.
Stellar Cast

In Evil Dead Burn, as stated in the official trailer, Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, Erroll Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink play key roles. Yacoub, an internationally renowned actor who plays a role in Dune: Part Two, is the central figure of the movie.
Filming Wrapped

Evil Dead Burn principal photography started in New Zealand on July 22, 2025, and ended officially on October 17, 2025, according to IMDb production records. Philip Lozano was the cinematographer. Maxime Caro edited it, and the footage cut by Caro might have been described by those who attended the early CinemaCon as an intensely visceral theatrical experience.
Studio Power

Evil Dead Burn will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures inside the country, with Sony Pictures outside, with the film being produced by Ghost House Pictures and New Line Cinema, according to Deadline and Variety. In the United Kingdom and France, StudioCanal UK and Metropolitan Filmexport are in charge of distribution.
What’s Next

A sequel, Evil Dead Wrath, written and directed by Francis Galluppi, started a period of principal photography in Auckland, New Zealand, on 21 February 2026, and has a planned theatrical release of April 7, 2028. The successful Evil Dead franchise is a good omen of dedicated franchise commitment by both Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema.
