The first weekend of the film earned Rs 54.50 crore in India. Its second-week performance was of Rs 43.75 crore, which is second in the list of best second-week box office among Akshay Kumar.
Heartfelt Score by Pritam
The entire soundtrack of the film was created by composer Pritam and lyrics by Kumaar. Singer Arijit Singh himself came to the makers to sing Tu Hi Disda; he strongly related to the sensitive lyrics.
Visual Richness in Locations
The shooting was done in London, Jaipur, Mumbai, Kochi, Chennai and Hyderabad. The ancient Galtaji Temple and Chomu Palace of Jaipur also brought in spectacular, authentic grandeur, which was used in the past by Priyadarshan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2007.

Emotionally, this movie is of great importance because it is the last screen appearance of the veteran comedian Asrani. On October 20, 2025, Asrani died at eighty-four years old, and he left an invaluable legacy in Indian cinema.
