Bollywood’s most popular comedy genre is once again on the big screen, and it’s got almost everyone in tow. Directed by Ahmed Khan and boasting one of the biggest casts of actors in recent Bollywood films, Welcome to the Jungle premieres in theaters on June 26, 2026.

Welcome to the Jungle is the third installment of the Welcome series, which follows on from the cult original 2007 movie and its spin-off 2015 sequel Welcome Back, and is the first to give fans the sequel they have waited over ten years for.
Akshay Kumar Is Back
Rajeev, played by Akshay Kumar, has been missing from the second installment altogether, and his presence has been sufficient on its own to get fans excited and revving the hype levels for the film to the stratosphere when his coming was announced.
Sanjay Dutt Joins the Chaos
Sanjay Dutt has his indubitable larger-than-life energy to lend to the mix. This incredibly funny duo with Akshay Kumar is promising to be one of the most fun comebacks Bollywood has assembled in years.
A 24-Member Cast
This is a massive ensemble, one of the biggest in recent times, to say the least. Fronted by 24 people, including the likes of Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani.
The Comedy Battalion
Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda complete the cast. It’s a comedy that one can’t help but think that the laughter-a-minute mode is more like a law of mathematics rather than a promise.
The Plot Explained

Duo officers – Jay Bakshi (Akshay Kumar) and Sandhya (Disha Patani) are on a chase to catch a notorious criminal. Jay discovers that the situation is far more complicated and involves his personal life more than he bargained for.
Ahmed Khan Directs
The man who made Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3 shares the director’s chair here. He artistically combines his flair for juggy action with the comedic chaos of the franchise, and the jungle scenes are already being called ‘wow’ moments.
Paresh Rawal Steals the Teaser
The teaser made a splash on social media. Dr. Ghungroo is back with a vengeance, Arshad Warsi is on top of his game, and the reactions on all platforms have been quite electrifying.

Veteran producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala is back under Base Industries Group. The production design has also been built from the ground up to go, along with the jungle setting’s wild ambitions, with the whole thing on a reportedly massive budget.

The film Welcome to the Jungle will hit theaters globally on 26th June 2026. It will premiere at a handful of Bollywood-friendly movie theaters such as Regal and AMC, as well as some independent multiplexes in the South Asian region -look for announcements closer to the event.
