“Kartavya” premieres on Netflix on May 15, 2026, having the exclusivity of its streaming release. Saif Ali Khan plays the main role of a Police Officer by the name of Pawan Malik, a large and long-overdue comeback to the crime-thriller genre by the well-known star.
High-Stakes Assassination Plot
Kartavya has a plot based on a moral and professional crisis. When one of the well-known investigative reporters is attacked and killed during his direct security in the small town of fictional Jhamli, Officer Pawan Malik goes through extremes to investigate the incident.
Pulkit Directs Thriller
The 108-minute movie is penned and directed by producer Pulkit, who has created a critically acclaimed Netflix movie, Bhakshak. Kartavya is TV-MA, with themes of the perilous crossroads of small-town policing, media responsibility, caste bias, and longstanding, twined-up corruption.
Powerhouse Supporting Cast
Kartavya has a star cast with Rasika Dugal and Sanjay Mishra as the main actors, and Zakir Hussain joining Manish Chaudhari as other main actors. Saurabh Dwivedi, a renowned investigative journalist, stars as godman Anand Shri in this thrilling movie.
Dhurandhar Sequel Lands
The spy sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a massive spy that went to Netflix around the world on May 15, 2026. Under the guidance of National Award-winning filmmaker Aditya Dhar, the blockbuster follow-up is directed by Ranveer Singh, who plays the crucial role alongside R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal.
India Must Wait
However, although Dhurandhar: The Revenge was released worldwide on Netflix in May 2026, it was released with a delay in its native country. The spy thriller is verified to be unavailable at present to stream on Netflix within India after its worldwide release.
Glory Enters The Ring
Glory is a seven-episode boxing drama that was released on May 1, 2026, by Netflix. The Hindi language series is titled in English, stars Pulkit Samrat and Divyenndu, and is set in Punjab and is based on a dark plot idea of murdering a young boxer that uproots an entire community.
Desi Bling Premieres
Desi Bling will see the light on May 18, 2026, thanks to the creative team, which significantly contributed to the success of Dubai Bling. Regional Cinema Shines
In addition to its large Hindi originals, Netflix added a lot of regional content in May. Tamil thriller Kara, with Dhanush and Mamitha Baiju, was released May 27, and Malayalam dark comedy sequel Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam, written and directed by Krishnadas Murali, started streaming May 8.
