Several action films on Netflix did not receive the recognition that they deserved. These ten movies are buried under a show of endless releases, but are gripping, well-crafted, and well worth your Friday night.
Spectral (2016)

A DARPA scientist is thrown into a war-torn area where men are dying at the hands of an unknown being that no weapon can kill. Intelligent and taut and much more involving than anybody thought it to be at the time.
Bright (2017)

Will Smith and Joel Edgerton roam a Los Angeles that features both humans and orcs roaming the streets. Director David Ayer creates a world so inhabited and daring that the majority of the viewers totally overlooked the point of a crazy ride it is.
Wheelman (2017)

Frank Grillo does not get out of the car. That one creative decision makes this thriller a getaway into something suffocating, breathless, and much more relentless. Director Jeremy Rush maintains the tension in the lock and does not allow the engine to cool down.
The Night Comes For Us (2018)

Director Timo Tjahjanto brings back Joe Taslim and Iko Uwais to unleash a martial arts movie that blows it out of the park. Every fight scene is disgustingly accurate and can not be taken off the screen until the end.
Triple Frontier (2019)

Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Pedro Pascal, Charlie Hunnam, and Garrett Hedlund are ex-Delta Force members who rob a drug cartel in South America. J.C. Chandor, the director, makes what may seem easy to do, morally difficult, and really exciting.
Polar (2019)

Mads Mikkelsen is the deadliest retired assassin in the world, who is being hunted before even having the chance to collect his pension. It is loud, fashionable, and fun without an apology. Mikkelsen is in command of all the frames and has the type of cool that few actors have.
In The Shadow Of The Moon (2019)

Boyd Holbrook is a detective with a thirty-year-old killer in his scope whose deeds defy all reason. A half-thriller, half-sci-fi, and all gripping. This is one of those films that remain with you even after the credits have scrolled.
6 Underground (2019)

Ryan Reynolds is the leader of a group of six individuals who pretended to be dead so as to eliminate a dictator. Directed by Michael Bay, it has full-throttle energy, and it spans the world with breathtaking scenery. It is huge, absurd, and immensely amusing in the very first scene.
Gunpowder Milkshake (2021)

One assassin movie has Karen Gillan, Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett, Lena Headey, and Carla Gugino. The director, Navot Papushado, creates a world of neon, which is nothing but pure style and supported by all-out action. This is a cast in itself and makes it a must-see among fans.
Kate (2021)

Here, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is an assassin who has been poisoned and has one night to incinerate the entire Tokyo and locate the assassin who commissioned her murder. Director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan maintains the tempo viciously, as well as the action, until the very final frame.
