12 Angry Men

This is a 1957 courtroom masterpiece that was created by Orion-Nova Productions and starred Henry Fonda, and was based on a capital murder case that was to be discussed by twelve jurors. It has one voice, which dares to systematically question every assumption and presents beholden cinema that captivates the heart even these days.
Platoon

Directed by Oliver Stone and produced by Hemdale Film Corporation, this Oscar-winning drama about the Vietnam War is about a young American recruit who was caught in a crossfire between two morally inconsistent sergeants. Based on true-life war experience, Platoon won Best Picture at the 1987 Academy Awards.
West Side Story

It is one of the Golden Age masterpieces of the 1961 musical production of Seven Arts Productions that retells Romeo and Juliet in the rival New York gangs. It is considered by far one of the best baseball movies ever produced, and is a favourite among fans.

This 1955 psychological thriller is the sole directorial work of Charles Laughton, wherein Robert Mitchum plays a threatening preacher who preys on two children. The film was produced by Paul Gregory Productions, and its visual narrative of hypnotizing storytelling and its devastating ambience has made it a legend amongst cinema scholars across the world.
Public Enemies

The 2009 crime drama directed by Michael Mann with a Universal Pictures production company is a documentary of the incredible ups and downs of a Depression-era bank robber named John Dillinger, who was played by Johnny Depp. The film is based on the book by the famous author, Bryan Burrough, and it provides a high standard of ensemble acting that is stylish and historically based throughout.
