Karan Johar made his debut at the Met Gala in a Manish Malhotra ensemble. His appearance interpreted the iconic mastery of drape, light and ornament with the use of modern couture and was directly inspired by the paintings of Raja Ravi Verma. His look garnered him one of the most talked-about and celebrated ones on a global scale.
Isha Ambani Stuns

Isha Ambani also donned a designer Gaurav Gupta cottage muslin saree embroidered with Swadesh craftsmen with pure gold threads and hand-painted pichwai-inspired designs. The appearance carried a weight of 1,800 carats of diamonds, emeralds, polki and kundan. Her jewellery-built-in blouse was out of the personal line of Nita Ambani herself – wearable heritage at its most breathtaking and truly awe-inspiring.

Ananya Birla came in a bold, structured Robert Wun design in combination with a metallic sculptural mask designed by an artist called Subodh Gupta. A short tailoring clashed with a big skirt, and the stainless steel face mask sold the look squarely into futuristic realms. Among the most discussed and experimental dressers of the whole evening, she was popularly called on the world fashion sites.
Sudha Reddy Embraces Heritage.

Sudha Reddy paid homage to the rich textile tradition of Hyderabad in a Manish Malhotra Kalamkari ensemble. The Tree of Life inspired creation took an unbelievable 3,459 hours to complete. The ensemble had a statement piece, a 550-carat tanzanite pendant, striking a chord with an artistic theme.

While Princess Gauravi Kumari sizzled in Maharani Gayatri Devi’s Iconic sari of Jaipur heritage, matched with her brother Sawai Padmanabh Singh’s in a
